Why Kahi Nub?
Kahi Nub is the name of Canopus in coptic, and means 'Golden
Earth'.
I love Canopus beause appears like the second brightest star in the sky, after
Sirius, but as a matter of fact Canopus is much more luminous, intrinsically,
than Sirius. In fact, for a large fraction of stars in the local stellar neighbourhood,
Canopus is the brightest star in the sky.
